Is Cui Yingjie a hero?

Interestingly, about 75% of respondents on this Chinese web page said yes.
Amongst the responses is the following, which received more supporting votes than any other post:
崔英杰和李志强都是畸形的社会制度的牺牲品，但崔英杰的反抗必然进一步促发社会对非人性制度的思考，从这点上，他是英雄!
Cui Yingjie and Li Zhiqiang are both casualties of a deformed socialist system, but Cui Yingjie’s resistance should further cause society to think about our inhuman system. From this point of view, Cui Yingjie is a hero!
